What is the Michigan Ballet Festival?
The Michigan Ballet Festival is an annual celebration of dance, offering master classes, performance opportunities, and professional adjudication for dancers ages 6-18. This year marks our 5th anniversary, and it will be our biggest festival yet, featuring incredible guest faculty and exciting learning experiences for both dancers and teachers.

When and where does the festival take place?
The festival takes place on February 22-23, 2025, at the Swartz Creek Performing Arts Center in Swartz Creek, Michigan. Dancers who are at the beginner level will have classes at Fenton Ballet Theatre in Fenton, MI. Master classes, workshops, and performances will run throughout the weekend.

Dancers can participate in:
Master Classes taught by renowned faculty in ballet, contemporary, and more
The Gala Performance, where dancers perform on stage and receive professional adjudication and feedback

Are there opportunities for dance teachers?
Yes! This year we’re introducing a Continued Learning Opportunity for studio faculty, led by Dr. Alexis Sams, PT, NKT. This workshop focuses on injury prevention, performance enhancement, and teaching strategies, providing invaluable tools for educators to support their dancers’ growth and success.

Are there discounts available?
Yes! We offer a 15% studio discount for group registrations. Additionally, early bird registration discounts are available until December 1st, 2024. Be sure to register early to take advantage of these savings!
